Fast and Furious Presentation: Hobbes and Shaw is an American action film directed by David Leach and written by Chris Morgan and Drew Pearce, based on a story by Morgan. It is a spin-off of the Fast and Furious franchise set between the events of Furious of 2017 and F9 of 2021. The film saw Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reclaim their roles from the original series as Lube Hobbs and Deckard the Lion, respectively, and starring Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Aiza Gonzalez, Cliff Curtis and Helen Mirren. The plot is an unlikely pair of title characters as they teamed up with Shaw-Bahn (Kirby) to fight a cyber-enhanced terrorist (Elba) with a deadly virus that is a threat to the world.
