Bhoot - Part 1: Ghost Ship is a 2020 Indian Hindi language horror thriller film written and directed by Vanu Pratap Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. It is based on a true accident that occurred in Mumbai about the MV Wisdom incident and tells the story of an officer who had to remove an abandoned but haunted ship on Juhu beach. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles and is the first film in the planned horror film franchise.
