Devalwani Dulhania Le Zheng (translated. Big-Heart Will Tell Bride), also known as Beginning DDLJ, is an Indian romance film produced by his father Yash Chopra and written by Aditya Chopra with Javed Siddiqui. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajal, released on 7 October 2015. The plot revolves around Raj and Simran, two young NRIs who fall in love with their friends while on vacation through Europe. Raj tried to win over Simran's family so that the couple could marry, but Simran's father had long promised to lend a hand to his friend's son. The film was shot in India, London and Switzerland from September 1994 to August 1995.
